Doc Deazy is an ethical fashion brand, a combination of street culture and elegance taken to another level.

An image taken in 2021 of a bag my father passed down to me that I held dear for many years and used until it was well-worn.

I appreciated the practicality of the bag’s design so much that, having used it until it was close to coming apart at the seams, I took it apart in an attempt to deconstruct the pattern and recreate it. This marked a pivotal moment in how I started thinking about the form of my designs; this bags design pays homage to how my father’s bag informed the design language I would come to adopt for Doc’Deazy’s bags.

In addition, Doc’Deazy has evolved into a family business over time as my sister and mother currently assist me with pattern making and stitching the more intricate bags together. So, referencing the bag I was given by my father allows me to celebrate the role family plays within Doc’Deazy.
